Master Bath Makeover

Hello everyone! I just got an account for my blog on Facebook! I decided I better join Social Media like all the other bloggers out there :) I would love you to follow me on Facebook so you don't miss a thing. I will be having give aways once I hit 300 likes or more. My link is in the upper right hand of my blog.
Here is my progress in getting our Master Bath just how I wanted. When we first bought our house it was just plain Jane to me. BEFORE

Look at that ugly hook for a towel.....

I painted all the walls a light grey to warm it up a little along with some decorations

I also added some floating shelves on the wall with all new towel hooks that are a lot more appealing

My favorite part of it all is this HUGE adorable rug I have. It pulls everything all together.

Kitchen Makeover!

Today I want to share with you my kitchen makeover. Kitchen renovations are among the most expensive home-improvement projects, but it's possible to give a tired kitchen new life without breaking the bank. At the most basic, walls can be painted and cabinet hardware changed to freshen the look. You always want to have a color scheme for your home that is not over the top. What I mean by over the top is, you don't want pink in one room, green in one and red in another. Try to stay with the same theme of colors. It is good to pick 3-4 with accent colors.

In my house my color accent is Turquoise (its my favorite color) greys, black, white and tans/browns.
For my kitchen makeover I painted the walls Cape Cobblestone in Benjamin Moore. I am in LOVE with this color because it is not too over powering but yet still warm enough with not being a "cold" grey. I feel it is a nice balanced grey. Some greys out there have a blue undertone to them that I don't like, this one was perfect for me!

I HATE clutter. Try to keep things off of your counters with the exception of a few decorations not going over board. Clean and simple is the way to be :) Notice how shiny my granite counter tops are??? I will be sharing my FAVORITE homemade granite cleaner in another post soon. :)

We framed in our kitchen window with molding which I feel made it look a lot better then in the before it was just plain Jane. (I want to do it with all the windows in my house)
I added 2 kitchen sayings in vinyl that I like, one above my stove and the other above the window. Enjoy life it's delicious and Meals & Memories are made here.

TA DA I am very happy with my kitchen where I can cook and build memories with my family :) ENJOY! I will be sharing more of my home tour soon.

Home Tour Living Room

We just moved into a new home a few months ago. I want to share with you all my transformations, room by room. I have a passion for decorating. I have always enjoyed it. So come with me on a decorating adventure in my new home and I hope it will give you some inspirations of your own :)
The first room I did was our Living Room.

BEFORE......

AFTER....

My favorite things in the room...

* My table I got at a yard sale, it was just a light wood color all over. I spray painted it black and Turquoise it cost me a total of $20.00
* One of my favorite stores is Homegoods. I got all my decorations there.

It is not all complete yet. My plan is to put a white mantel on the rock fireplace and pull up the carpet and put in dark hardwood floors. But for now this works great for me and I am very happy with how it all has turned out so far. Stay tuned for more of my Home Tour. Enjoy your day and remember to always smile!

Grey White and Black

I love these colors together for a Master bedroom. It is so clean and precise. Pretty but yet masculine. I really wish I took pictures of the before but I didn't. Here are the after pictures (just picture nothing in the room and all white for the before) This post is also to show just how important the right piece of furniture really is to make the room complete and perfect. As you can see my log bed was just not cutting it for the look I was going for, and it really throws everything else off. So I sold it and got my new black bed that makes everything come together! I love it now that it has the right piece of furniture.
